Hi Mike,

The Medtronic Event was really great and I felt very lucky to have been part of it. I just hope that it continues and both us Bloggers & Medtronic can help each other.

As for Medtronic in Lausanne, Switzerland – wow what can I say it was lovely, I was also happily surprised at just how open Medtronic were towards us.

Keep up the good work and let’s hope the events continue.

Thanks Crystal.. It was a unique and refreshing opportunity to be able to sit down with the big boys and talk openly and honestly about how we do things, products and all that Biz.

Now the Puppies! Tim and I were forced into additional NDA’s to stop the Puppy Story surfacing….. But I’ll let you put 2 and 2 together Lake Geneva and Factory… hahaha

Hey Michael. Yep it a was a great couple of days and very refreshing indeed. We were venturing into the unknown a little.

I think being ale to break down some traditional barriers was great and we have set up a working party to continue those efforts online until we all meet up again.

I’ve read about the Roche events and was kinda jealous!

Great recap of that event, Mike! Thanks for keeping us up on Medtronic’s efforts on this front! Roche has something similiar and had one last year, and doing another in Florida this month – same thought in using social media to help manage the reputation and customer relations. Good to see Medronic doing that there, and will look forward to the company’s updates as time goes on! Hopefully they’ll have some of those same types of meetings here in the States, too.

Yeah a rare opportunity to meet up with Big Pharma, I guess! Really looking forward to it and will hopefully return better educated, more informed.

Also as you know, it allows us Pancreatically Challenged Hordes a chance to have a good ol chat!
