16 Today

I thought I would break a habit of a lifetime and blog today.

Today marks 16 years of Diabetes for me. It feels as though that those 16 years have flown by!

I will most likely celebrate by having wild glycemic excursions throughout the day possibly throwing in a carb laden donut in there somewhere!

20140423-081505.jpgIn other news, today marks St. George’s Day in England and also the Catalan version of Valentines Day in Barcelona.

That’s all for now folks! Take care and bolus like mad….

    Hi Mike,

Do you know what insulin pumps are available in Spain? I’ll be moving back to Spain soon and am curious to know which insulin pumps are covered in Spain. I’m currently an Omnipod pod user but it looks like only medtronic and animas distribute in Spain legally. Any advice or suggestions on how to keep pumping with any of the 3 companies I mentioned or if there’s another pump in Europe that’s better and available to obtain in Spain? Thanks so much and nice blog!
